Installation Procedure
This document describes the steps to download and
install PlowTrax.
After reviewing this procedure,
Click on this button:
to
download the PlowTrax Free Trial
(in
Zip format).
or need the Access runtime
or need WinZip
Click here to get to the FREE installation download area
The File Download Dialog should appear.
Click the Save button to proceed with the PlowTrax download.
If the Save As dialog appears, click the Save
button.
The download progress will be displayed.
When the download is complete, select Open.
Opening the Zip file should launch your Zip
Extractor program.
If you do not have a Zip Extractor program, you can
download
WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm
This example shows the steps encountered using
WinZip.
Opening the Zip file should launch the Zip
Extractor program.
Select Use Evaluation if this is a trial version of
WinZip.
The PlowTrax Zip contents is displayed.
Right Click on Setup.Exe.
The following warning may appear.
Select Yes.
Choose OK to start the extraction.
The Windows Installer should launch the PlowTrax
installation program.
The following message may appear briefly while the PlowTrax
Setup starts.
The PlowTrax Setup Wizard Welcome screen
should appear.
Click on the Next button to continue with the
installation.
The Installation Folder dialog should appear.
Click on the Next button to accept the C:\PlowTrax
folder.
IMPORTANT: The installation folder should NOT
be changed.
The Confirm Installation dialog should appear.
Click the Next button to continue.
The PlowTrax Installation Progress dialog
should appear
while the installation is executing.
The PlowTrax Installation Complete dialog
should appear .
Click on the Close button.
The PlowTrax installation places a short-cut
on the Windows Desktop.
Double-click on the short-cut to start the PlowTrax
program.
